SO IN THIS CONTEXT,I AM POSTING THIS BLOG.MY INTENTION IS TO POINT OUT THAT THE PEOPLE OF ONE RELIGION CAN WRECK HAVOC, CREATING AN ALIBI TO WRECK HAVOC AND WHATNOT!

TO BE HONEST, KASHMIRIS ARE A CONFUSED LOT! MR.GEELANI WANTS "IN-DEPENDENCE", WHEN OTHER EXTREMIST GROUPS "IN LOVE WITH PAK" WANT TO UNITE WITH IT AND THE REST ARE BEFUDDLED! HAS KASHMIR NOT SEEN PEACE, SERENITY AND CO-EXISTENCE BEFORE AND UNDER WHOSE UMBRELLA WERE THEY THEN? THIS WAS A VERY CALCULATED AND COLD-BLOODED STRATEGY TO SLOW-BLEED US BY PAKISTAN, IMPLEMENTED SINCE ZIA-UL-HAQ'S TIME! THOSE VICIOUS SEEDS OF HATRED AND ANARCHY HAVE RESULTED IN TOTAL POISONING OF MIND AND LAND! NO COUNTRY WORTH IT'S SALT, WILL AGREE TO "DONATE" PIECES OF IT'S LAND! THE PANDITS AND OTHERS HAVE BEEN SO BRUTALIZED BY THE "VALLEYIANT" FIGHTERS THAT THEY HAVE BECOME HOMELESS IN THEIR OWN STATE! LET US NOT FORGET THEIR LOSSES!

IMPRESSIONABLE YOUTH, INJECTED WITH A PROMISE OF MARTYRDOM AND HEAVEN HAVE GRABBED THE MEDIA ATTENTION AND WE LISTEN TO THE WESTERN MEDIA SAYING "KASHMIR IS BURNING"! WILL CHINA GIVE UP TIBET AND CAN IT EVER IMAGINE GRABBING "ARUNACHAL PRADESH"? THE ONE SINGLE RALLYING POINT IN PAKISTAN TO SUPPORT THE EXTREMISTS IS A BLINDING "HATRED" TOWARDS INDIA AND ALL IT REPRESENTS! The Aussies are at it again! This time the Australian High Commission in INDIA! They refused visas to a sports team for a lawn bowlers tournament! The coach of the Indian team is an Australian, and he said"it is a blatant example of racism"! I feel, that the Aussie continent being so far away physically, have not had a chance to mature into Homo Sapiens!

They call their country the "Lucky Country"! They like "Whites"! The universities there are so dependent on foreign student enrollment for survival, that they used to come to India with a "begging bowl" seeking admissions into their colleges! Once the Indians started getting killed and mutilated by these "less-than-human" folks, many universities are either closed or on the verge of closure, for lack of funds!

I admire our Foreign minister,Sri.Krishna, who for once is a no-nonsense guy, unlike the previous ones! The first and firm step should be to downgrade their "High Commission" to an ordinary "Embassy"! The lack of sensitivity of the A-govt. is appalling,to put it mildly! Somebody,nuke them all to Kingdom come!

WITH GREAT RESPECT TO A "DAWOODI BOHRA", THE FORMER CJI,JUSTICE AHMADI, I AM FLABBERGASTED WHEN HE DEFENDED THE TWO YEAR JAIL SENTENCE IMPOSED ON THE REMAINING "MANAGERS" OF THE FACTORY! HE IS SUCH AN EMINENT PERSON, HE WAS (?IS)TWICE ELECTED VICE-CHANCELLOR OF THE "ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY" AFTER RETIREMENT! IT IS A MATTER OF GREAT PRIDE THAT NOT A SINGLE CASE EXISTS ON A "DAWOODI BOHRA"IN ANY COUNTRY!

Pope Benedict has issued a seven page apology letter to His Irish flock, which has been read today to a shocked audience! What really hurts is the public perception that the Pope knew this all along ,contributed His bit to cover it up and WHEN SHOVE CAME TO PUSH did not own up to His role in the "infernal affair"!

In India, the various ashrams, Mutts and the FRAUDS indulging in the "Holy Business" have added their own variety of spice and pizzaz by leading a life of gay abandon behind the scenes!

An extemely famous and revered Guru from Bengal, when He set up shop in California,USA said" I know what goes on when i leave the premises even for two days,there is so much mingling of the opposite sexes"! He also set up a branch in Bihar state in India which is thriving and after His demise, the ashram chief Monks(renunciants) have a SEVEN course dinner every Sunday! So much for controlling the senses and turning them inwards! The Devotees are far superior than the teachers, i feel!!

UG KRISHNA MURTI AND OM!

When ever the environs are silent, i get to hear the "OM"! It is not the sound we are asked to produce from our belly button up outwards in ashrams ,etc. The "OM", as explained by Paramahamsa Yoganada is the "whirr of the cosmic motor". It so happened that dad and self were on a visit to see U.G in Yercaud( a beautiful hill resort near Salem city in Tamil Nadu)where UG stationed my uncle (an ex-Army Major). One fine evening, when the Sun was setting i was walking towards UG and the "roar" of "OM"went into top gear and i told UG that the sound in me was 100 times the roar of the Niagara falls as i was nearing Him and He shouted at me "why do you want to give it a name, why don't you just call it the "sound of silence"". That's the unorthodox UG for you!

The other side of the coin too should be presented to those folks reading this. When UG was young,He used to visit the Lord Hanuman(Anjaneya) temple in His home town of "Gudivada", asking the Lord there to solve some issues and in lieu, UG promised to break a coconut and finally the count became one thousand coconuts!UG could not keep the promise, and it so happened that when once He was in Bengaluru(Bangalore), He had to spend nearly three years in a street called "West Anjaneya street",aptly named because UG's host's house was bang in front of a Hanuman temple( one coconut equalling one day) !

I had a similar experience in Tiruvannamalai, the town made famous by Ramana Maharshi. We visited the Ramana ashram and sat for a period in the hall where The Great Ramana used to interact with people. No "OM" sound there. Three or Four houses away from there,lived "Annamalai swamy", the person who used to help Ramana take His bath and later fell foul of the ashram authorities. We went to that thatched roof under which Annamalai Swamy was present and when we neared the gate, i could feel as if i slammed into a "wall of OM"! Boy o Boy, i can still recall the moment vividly! The Swamy was contentment personified. He reduced His needs to 'Food,Shelter and "a small loin cloth. Every thing else was a burden to Him! No teachings, no disciples hanging on to His every word and there was nobody to stop you from meeting Him! I am reminded of UG's words to me"You cannot have This and That too Sir"!

Thought is Energy. Everyone has a thought sphere surrounding him/her, from which they pick up a particular thread of thought as the need arises. Thoughts do not originate from inside! The Western scientists studies in trying to locate site of the "mind" is bound to fail as they are searching for it inside the human body, more specifically the "BRAIN". As UG KRISHNA MURTI opined "the constant use of thought is waring down the system and will lead to conditions like "Alzheimer's disease" and "senile dementia". He also went on to say" a genius is one who has a very big thought sphere with INSTANT RECALL"!

It is impossible to get rid of thoughts by any spiritual practice, except chanting the name of the Lord to the exception of anything else! To reach a thoughtless state, the mercy of "THAT" OR "GOD" is vital! AS Confucius said "making,making ,one day made". It is near impossible for any genuine article (person) to explain the state, as He/She are in a constant state of wonderment and UNITY! So, to whom can they explain when they have lost their locus of"I"! No amount of logic can help, because logic buries beleif. Once beleif is lost, everything is lost--both in a positive sense and it's opposite!

CONVERSION PAINS SHIFTING FROM WINDOWS TO LINUX DISTROS!

Now Microsoft have finally shot themselves in the foot with withdrawal of support to Win.XP and forcing folks to shift to Win 7 at prices so absurdly high that people are shifting in droves to Linux Distros(distributions-roughly 400 out there?).

I, for one never like things pushed down my throat! Windows has really made us dummies or puppets (the phraseology is yours to choose), that we have simply forgotten that there is a language and a script behind every operating system, because the Big Bill has smoothened the ride for us!
The truth ,alas is always bitter, but the fruits of a little labour are immeasurably high. That is Linux for you! It is so open in it's origin, growth and maturity,it leaves you in awe, wondering what was i doing all these years, hanging on to the tail-coats of Microsoft!

UG( Krishnamurti) and myself!

The first and unforeseen meeting took place in Madras ( now Chennai) in 1992. The first bolt that came out of Him, when He saw me was"sir, though i am not a fatalist, i personally feel there is very little in your hands".

Then He asked me to show my palm and said"sir, you have Divine protection as the Solomon square is very prominent". The folks around Him( except my uncle,a Major in the Indian Army) were all new to me and they started exclaiming "UG uttering the word-Divine"!

I was 32 at that time and for my height 5'9, weighed 60kgs. He whispered into my ears"you are going to be a fatty,sir".

After my first meet, i noticed two bulges above both my clavicles( OH! I am a Doc.)--collar bones! These normally are seen in people suffering from Hypo-thyroidism, but i was normal. So, i showed them to UG and He coolly said "they are your Thymus glands opening up sir" and went on to show similar bulges in Him and He further added "the yogis call them the ANAHATA CHAKRA, i.e the Heart center opening up! They have remained bulged since then,till date. Since i come from a family with deep rooted spiritual values and sadhana, consider them as a gift from UG. One parting shot from Him was"I will haunt you sir till your very end"! More to come, ciao!

Aussies-- are they racist?

The recent attacks on Indians have raised the question whether the Australians (Whites) are to be trusted when they(the Aussie Govt.) say the attacks are simple robbery attempts. The point that raises eyebrows is ,most of these attacks took place near or inside the university campuses spread across Australia! In defence of Australia, the only point i wish to make is "why go there at all?, when you know there is a threat there to your life and limb". If you note ,the number of Blacks is decreasing, they are mostly jobless, their death rate is 20 years less than Whites! Saddening, to say the least! The East and West"the twine shall never meet" is a bitter truth! Hey, truth is always bitter!

Amitabh bachchan undergoes diabetes tests

Hats off to AB for the guts to undergo diabetes screening tests while he's in the U.K.It should prompt the Govt.of India to not only encourage but also to help the medical fraternity in India to organize such sreening camps.As of now it is the pharma industry with a portfolio of anti-diabetes drugs who help the few motivated doctors to conduct such free camps.With diabetes spreading like wildfire,especially in India,the Govt.should launch a country-wide campaign,using the media as a means to create a real need to check himself or herself (especially those with a positive family history) for evidence of pre-diabetes or frank diabetes!As a starting point,Hyderabad,the capital of Andhra pradesh should be the target as fresh evidence is emerging that this city has the highest numbers vis-a-vis,of diabetics.The fear barrier that "i may be diagnosed as having diabetes"is a real hurdle,and AB has done the right thing in puncturing that!

TRIP TO OOTY

I've recently been to ooty(a famous hill resort in south India) with my elder son.I visited it once before in the early '90s and much has changed like all things in life.Ruskin Bond calls it the "call of the mountains".I revelled in the beauty of the place.My Medical friends were surprised that i visited it in July,when the actual visitor season was over.Travelogues mentioned that April,may and June were the three months ideal for visitors.Being a Virgo,am allergic to crowds.The image is a shot from the Dodabetta Peak,the highest point on the western ghats(a mountain range).The high point of the visit was when my son asked me whether we can chill out with a beer!so much for parental policing!Adieu,my friends!

My Spine

I probably am one of those guys who likes to travel,but can't!Not for lack of resources or otherwise.My upper spine simply dosen't allow me to!Orthopaedic surgeons(bone specialists) did CT and MRI scans on my spine and said that the disc between D8 and D9 vertebra has simply degenerated and in it's place there exists a nitrogen bubble.I live in the southern part of India and DR.SAJAN HEGDE,the premier spine surgeon(Apollo Hospitals,Chennai) ruled out surgery.As a result my upper back muscles have become weak and even when i walk one furlong i get upper back spasms.My heart's been tested and it's o.k.I've been advised back strengthening exercises and am wearing a Taylor-Knight Brace.Any further suggestions would be most welcome!

BROTHEL BILLS AND THE DUTCH BANK

The Dutch bank yesterday in a memo to it's employees informed them that it is "NO LONGER"going to reimburse the brothel bills submitted by their employees on their trips overseas,and that they have pay for the fun on their own!I appreciate the bank for their candid admission that the practice was paid for,for so long and possibly the girls (or Guys for that matter )have raised their rates much above the bank's capability,and hence the memo!Hey!check what your banks are allowing,because the're possibly having a ball at your expense.So long!

Today the olympic torch was relayed through India ,more specificaly New Delhi,India's capital, amidst unprecedented security!I personally know no Tibetean and neither would most of you.But we know they subscribe to Buddhism,a religion which has NON-VIOLENCE at it's core.In fact the Indian Prime Minister described The Dalai Lama as the "greatest living Gandhian".Whether we like Alfred Nobel or not,the Nobel prize is highly respected and Dalai Lama was the recepient of the Nobel peace prize.Hence the inference would be that the world community has recognized the Spiritual head of Tibeteans as a pure peace monger.But the Chinese officialdom portray Him as otherwise,nary any evidence,except that the Tibetean youth living in China have definitely used the hosting of the summer olympics in China to highlight their greivances.We Indians have had experience of the Chinese (sic)friendship,(refer back to the Hindi-chini Bhai Bhai days) and trust them as an insect would trust the spider!Outwardly for diplomatic reasons we act otherwise.Yo,people of other countries ,note that chinese are very smart cookies and whenever you visit China,either for olympics or for business/pleasure/vacation you will be shown the buttered side(shining face) of their country and you naturally come away impressed.Try and ask to visit any interior states(of your choice) of the country and then you will know!!Phew! a long post (sorry),but i had to vent it out.Sadly the days of confuscian wisdom in China are gone!See,Peking has become Beijing!Ciao,until my next post.
